Southeast area About the courses already opened
The southeast area of the Hitachinokuni Long Trail was opened to traffic in March 2023 for the full opening of the trail.
The course is full of historical castle ruins, nostalgic country roads, sacred power spots, eye-catching rock formations and spectacular views from the mountain tops.
Please plan your walk well in advance and allow plenty of time for the distance and schedule. Please check the map and enjoy the trek to the extent that you can, whether by walking in small sections or by piste walking along the course.
Course location
The locations of the southeast SE-01 to SE-45 section courses are located in Takahagi, Hitachiota and Hitachi cities.
It can be accessed by bus or other means from the nearest stations, Takahagi Station and Hitachiota Station.

The southeast area is accessible by public transport by bus from the JR Suigun Line and JR Joban Line.
