When do we walk?
The Hitachinokuni Long Trail is a course that is not easily affected by deep snowfall and other factors due to its geographical location.
The course allows visitors to fully enjoy their walking trip while experiencing the rich changes of nature throughout the four seasons.
Spring is the season of buds and flowers. After the season of fresh greenery, you can enjoy the various expressions of the nature-rich Satoyama Trail from summer, when the leaves are lush with green foliage, to the season of autumn leaves, which change color in turn from the northern part of the country. In winter, when the leaves have fallen off the brightly lit mountains, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the shining sea and the mountains of Nasu beyond the clear air.
The Hitachinokuni Long Trail has its own unique ways to enjoy the trail, depending on the season and location, and there are some things to keep in mind. For more information, please read the FAQ.
