CULTURAL&FOLKLORE-NE01：Village of Secretly Clear Streams
The area to the west of the headwaters of the Takiyama Valley in NE-04 to NE-07 is a bit more open, and fireflies are said to dance in the summer near the clear stream in this village. On the east side of the valley, there is Shougan-ji Temple, which displays magnificent weeping cherry blossoms in spring. Various efforts by new generations are underway in this quiet village, which has a different charm from that of the ocean side.
