Course maintenance (July 30, 2023)
This maintenance activity was conducted in the Kita-Ibaraki area.
The cooperative team worked hard to cut through the thick vegetation in the height of summer, but they were able to successfully complete their work on the target section.
First, we will have a meeting to make sure we are prepared for the heat and confirm routes, procedures, and responsibilities. | This time, we visited “Hanazono Shrine” along the way to pray for safety and our best wishes. |
Move to the maintenance point. The blue of the sky is pleasant. | We will proceed with clean up and maintenance as the grass and trees are growing well. |
We will work through the underbrush and ivy. | At this time of year, if not maintained, it will quickly become covered with weeds. |
Fallen trees like this one also block the way. | Fallen trees are also carefully removed. |
After the work, a clear trail was created. | On the return trail, you could easily mistake it for a trail that had been there before. |
After the work was finished, it was hot and we enjoyed a nature shower. | We handed out volunteer activity certificates to those who have worked as maintenance and utilization leaders for the past year. We look forward to working with you in the future. |
Although it was a hot day, the meeting ended with smiles on the faces of all participants, including first-timers. Once again, thanks to all the participants for their hard work. |
