We held trekking events and seminars mainly targeting foreign nationals living in Japan in order to convey the appeal of long trails and to cultivate a new group of people interested in them.

With participants of various nationalities, the seminar began with a trekking experience. This tour will take visitors on a stroll around “Takado-Kohama” in Takahagi City, which is part of the Hitachinokuni Long Trail 2024 April.
It is amazing to find such a beautiful beach so close to the station and within walking distance of town! Participants also stroll around with a fresh feeling.Takado Kohama is a mix of rock and sand beaches. It has a little cove and is blessed with places to explore.
There are also cave-like places like this that will get your adventurous spirit going. Then from the Kansha shrine to the course of the Hitachinokuni Long Trail.
Just a short walk from the beach, you can enter a quiet trail. What did you feel from the appearance of the shrine that quietly watches over the village?
The unexpectedly high cliffs and the power of the crashing waves will make you cheer. After the trekking experience, move on to the Hozumi Family Residence, an old house that is also a cultural asset in Takahagi City.
