Hitachinokuni long trail
2024 Spring Section extended!
The northeastern section is now open and
The southeastern section has been extended
The “Hitachinokuni Long Trail” project, which Namche Bazar and the Ibaraki Prefectural Government and cooperative members have been working on,
In the spring of 2024, a section of the trail between Hitachiota, Kitaibaraki, and Takahagi opened to traffic as the northeast section.
In addition, the southeastern section will be extended to Hitachi-Omiya,
and all six cities and towns in northern Ibaraki Prefecture will now be served by the Hitachinokuni Long Trail course.
This is a new course that offers a wide variety of trails to enjoy,
The course has already attracted a great deal of attention from all quarters.
